These four journeys are available to school groups on week days from Sunday to Thursday, from 8:30am to 12:15pm, and only on school days (no weekends or term breaks).

There are several timeslots available between 8:30AM and 12:15PM, which allow you to choose an arrival time suitable for you.

Multiple groups can be booked on the same journey for the same timeslot. However, each group can only do 1 journey per day.

*Free tickets for accompanying adults will be provided:
  • KG : 1 free accompanying adult for every 5 students
  • Cycle 1/Primary : 2 minimum to 4 maximum accompanying adults per group
  • Cycle 2/Middle : 2 minimum to 4 maximum accompanying adults per group
  • Cycle 3/High : 2 minimum to 4 maximum accompanying adults per group

Accompanying adults such as teachers, teaching assistant or school staff, are mandatory to accompany the group during the journey




  • The ticket price for each journey is inclusive of:
    • Entry to Expo 2020
    • Express pass into the thematic pavilions
    • Group tour guide
    • Identification band
    • Free tickets for accompanying adults within the required ratios.
  • As each journey is quite immersive with a lot of content, only one journey per day is permitted.
  • The time dedicated to each journey depends on the students’ cycle, and includes the tour guide’s welcome, bus unloading/loading, washroom breaks, as well as snack/lunch meals.
    Please note that the total duration of each journey may vary depending on various factors. The estimated duration of the full journey is as follows:
    • KG / FS : up to 2.5 hours
    • Cycle 1 / Primary School : up to 3 hours
    • Cycle 2 / Middle School : up to 3.5 hours
    • Cycle 3 / High School : up to 4 hours


  • School group sizes must be between 15 and 25 students.
  • Students must be grouped together by their grade level, as mixing of the grades is not allowed.
  • A minimum number of adults are required to accompany each group, based on the grade level of the students.
  • The accompanying adults can be teachers, teaching assistants, or other school staff, and are required to arrive on the same bus as the students.
  • These accompanying adults will be provided with free tickets, based on the ratios outlined below:
    • KG : 1 free accompanying adult for every 5 students
    • Cycle 1 / Primary : 2 minimum to 4 maximum accompanying adults per group
    • Cycle 2 / Middle : 2 minimum to 4 maximum accompanying adults per group
    • Cycle 3 / High : 2 minimum to 4 maximum accompanying adults per group


  • School Coordinators are required to be the main point of contact for your school for Expo 2020.
  • They are individuals nominated by the School Principal to manage the schools bookings to Expo 2020. Each school could have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 coordinators.
  • To register your Expo Coordinator(s), please follow these steps for each individual:
    • Click on sign-up and fill in your school details
    • Await a verification email from the Expo School Programme team
    • Obtain your login credentials via the verification email
    • Click on login and use your credentials
  • Once your Expo Coordinator(s) are registered, they will receive a step-by-step guide to planning and booking your students journeys, along with payment information.
  • Please note that all reservations must be confirmed 15 days before the date of arrival, or the tickets will be released from your account.


  • Please ensure that students have eaten before arriving to the Expo 2020 site, as the lunch break is near the end of the journey
  • School groups are allowed to bring their own lunch, snacks and water bottles.

  • Buses need to be arranged by the school.
  • A bus QR code for each scheduled group will be provided prior to your journey, and must be displayed on the bus windscreen.
  • When planning your journeys, please ensure that one bus does not have two different groups.
  • If one group exceeds the bus capacity, a second bus can be used with the same QR code.
  • We have different parking lots and drop-off points for each journey, along with different tour guides for each scheduled group.
  • Rest area for bus drivers will be provided.
