Food to Facade - (Middle/Cycle 2)

Students identify that food waste is a significant problem in the UAE and across the developed world. They discover some facts about food waste and some ways in which waste food can already be turned into useful products. Students explore examples of building materials made using waste food and then create their own idea for a material and how it will be collected, made, used and recycled.

Buildings to Life - (Secondary/Cycle 3)

Students explore how regenerative buildings can transform the connection between the built and natural environments.  They use a range of enquiry and critical thinking to create their own regenerative building design for their community. They identify ways in which a regenerative environment can foster positive outcomes like community, collaboration, and more.
