AI for Wildlife - (Primary/Cycle 1)

Students try drawing a cat from a verbal description to experience the complexity of visual identification, before exploring a simple online example of machine learning. They are introduced to some unique and wonderful species of animals that live in the UAE.

Blockchain Escape Race - (Middle/Cycle 2)

Students are introduced to a simple explanation of blockchains and hashes. They complete an ‘escape room’ activity, completing tasks and choosing answer codes which they give to the teacher or optionally enter into a hash generator. If students’ completed answer codes or hashes match the teacher’s, they can escape the room!

AI and Us - (Secondary/Cycle 3)

Students learn some key definitions relating to AI before playing a game to identify how AI already shapes and enhances their daily lives. They consider how AI and robotics may develop and identify some future benefits as well as ways in which they may feel discomfort at the roles AI and robots begin to play. To avoid this, students generate guiding rules for AI and robotic systems.
