How Pink Is Your Farm? - (Primary/Cycle 1)

Students will explore the carbon footprint of their lunch and learn why food is imported to UAE, but also why this practice could be made more sustainable. They will compare traditional farms with modern vertical pink farming, to learn which is the most efficient and sustainable.

Making Energy Beautiful - (Middle/Cycle 2)

Students will explore examples of beautiful renewable energy sources and compare them to more conventional-looking examples, in order to consider the benefits of attractive design. Inspired by what they have seen, students will design their own beautiful renewable energy source in 2D and 3D.

Catching The Sun & Wind - (Secondary/Cycle 3)

Students will learn about UAE’s energy goals and discuss whether they think these can be met by 2050. They will then be introduced to Dubai’s large-scale solar park, as an example of the projects which are helping UAE to work towards its energy goals.
