Next Gen World Majlis

BECAUSE MEANINGFUL CONVERSATIONS HAVE A TIME AND PLACE

As part of the World Majlis programme, the Next Gen World Majlis fosters conversations with and amongst youth adults on a variety of topics and themes that matter for the future. Joining them in these stimulating talks are thought leaders who come from different backgrounds, perspectives and enterprises, igniting new ideas and questions that will enrich the content of the World Majlis before, during and after Expo 2020 Dubai.

THEMES AND TOPICS

Inspired by the Expo's theme of 'Connecting Minds, Creating the Future' and its subthemes of 'Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability', the World Majlis conversations explore the areas where we can place humanity and its well-being at the core of the future.

LEAD THE WAY TO EXPO 2020—AND BEYOND

To participate in the Next Gen World Majlis conversations in the lead up to Expo 2020 Dubai, students (ages 14-17) need to answer one of four questions related to the topics of the upcoming World Majlis sessions in the form of a short audio recording in English. For each session, 12-15 students will be selected as participants.
